Laura Basgaard (1884-1982)
The seventh of nine children, Laura was born in Polk County, Minnesota to Norwegian immigrants Ole S. Basgaard and Severine (Larson). Her mother, Severine Theresa, was the eldest sibling of my great grandmother, Malla (Larson) Johnson. As an adult, Laura became the wife of Albert C. Corliss, a street car conductor in Fargo, North Dakota.

I just ran acroos this photo of Laura Basgaard Corliss. My grandmother, Myrtle "Thompson" Hendrickson knew Laura Corliss. the Corlss family and the Thompson family used to get together occasionally. My g-g-grandmother, Ingebord "Basgaard" Sanding was the twin sister of Ole, (Laura's father), and I have lots of information on the family. Kristie jformolo@wi.rr.com
